“Vintage Articles”
Dr. Melissa Heinz has been serving as a Doctor of Chiropractic since 1995—and from the very beginning of her career, she had a passion not just for helping patients in the clinic, but for educating the public as well. Early on, she wrote and published a wide range of articles to make chiropractic concepts easier to understand and more accessible to everyone.
Today, she’s gathered many of those original writings into what she fondly calls her “Vintage Articles”—a special collection that reflects the foundation of her work, her long-standing commitment to patient education, and the timeless principles she still values today. They offer a unique look at where her journey began and the ideas that continue to inspire the care she provides every day.
Dr. Melissa Graduated Chiropractic School on November 23rd, 1995.
A Look Back at Where It All Began

These moments reflect a formative chapter in her journey that continues to influence her work and inspire her care today.
The First Pages of the Journey
This collection reflects Dr. Melissa’s earliest published writings—one of which was created while she was still a chiropractic student, already exploring the ideas and principles that would shape her future in practice. These articles capture a time of curiosity, mentorship, and momentum, leading into one of her earliest professional milestones: stepping forward to open her own chiropractic business. Together, they offer a glimpse into the foundation years where learning, purpose, and leadership first began to take form.
Little Adjustments, Big Beginnings
Dr. Melissa has always had a special passion for adjusting children and supporting healthy development from the very beginning.
When her own children were sick, chiropractic adjustments were always part of the care she trusted and turned to first. That personal experience strengthened her belief in supporting the body naturally especially during times when children need it most. To Dr. Melissa, chiropractic care isn’t just for pain it’s a way of life, not a treatment.
