Athletic Injuries with KST and Laser Therapy

Athletic injuries can happen suddenly or develop over time from repetitive stress. Common injuries include sprains, strains, tendon irritation, and joint inflammation- often affecting the ankles, shoulders, knees, and back. These injuries can limit performance, delay training, and keep athletes from doing what they love.

In our office we utilize advanced low-level laser therapy to support faster healing and recovery. This technology works at the cellular level to reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and promote tissue repair. For example, when treating a sprained ankle, laser therapy helps decrease swelling and speeds up ligament healing, getting you back to playing faster. With shoulder injuries, it can reduce pain and inflammation while improving mobility- allowing athletes to return to activity more quickly and safely.

When appropriate, we also incorporate Koren Specific Technique (KST) to address any underlying structural imbalances that may have contributed to the injury or are slowing the healing process. By combining precise adjustments with targeted laser therapy, we support both immediate recovery and long-term performance.
